DC Tone

This snowboard has a rocker-flat-rocker profile. It will carve well down groomers, and the benefit will be most noticeable on icy runs. The rockered tips will allow it to float better in powder and jib better in the park than traditionally flat snowboards. The board will lack some "pop" relative to traditional camber snowboards, but will outdo the traditional rocker.

A board with medium-stiff flex will be slightly receptive to bending, but excels at maintaining stability at high speeds. A medium-stiff flex is a good fit for a rider who is looking for a higher degree of stability and control while riding through powder or steep mountain verticals.

The 2014 DC Tone is designed for an advanced rider. An advanced rider will be confident and comfortable with his or her snowboarding skills to ride any groomed run, and will continue to push his or her skills in the terrain park and throughout the backcountry.
