Briko 19 Vulcano FIS 6.8 Fluid Multi Impact Helmet

Vulcano FIS 6.8 is World Cup helmet FIS 6.8 certified. FIS 6.8 is the most restrictive safety certification. The Briko PROTETTO patented system is an additional ABS shell able to absorb shocks and increase safety. Its position increases shock absorption on the nape area that is the most frequently impacted in case of a fall. During 2014 Vulcano FIS 6.8 had been awarded with an ISPO Award in Ski Helmets category and it had been selected for the ADI INDEX annual publication, competing this way to Compasso de Oro award selection. Fluid Inside integration enhances the safety features of this helmet with a 39% reduction in the force of rotational and linear impact. The Fluid Inside system includes several pods that absorb impact by simulating the behavior of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain, thus creating an additional protective layer inside the helmet. The EPP, expanded polypropylene, unlike the EPS, has the ability to deform itself and regenerate keeping the original shape after one or more impacts, granting effectiveness and reliability.
