Project Update: Macy's project for Special Olympics was a great success! Thank you
to all those who contributed!!! Macy will be collecting items again next fall.
Macy Matthews's Project to help Special Olympics
As part of my graduation project, I am helping to provide both clothing and equipment for the
Special Olympic students who will participate in both the ski program and Special Olympics Ski
Race at Elk Mountain. We are looking for donations of new or used jackets, ski pants, skis,
ski boots, poles, helmets, goggles, gloves & mittens, winter boots, etc. Any extra
clothing not utilized for the Special Olympics Ski Race will be donated to a local drive which
distributes clothing within the community.
We will be taking donations at both the Idlewild Ski Shop and the Village of Four Seasons
office. If you have any questions regarding donations, please call the Idlewild Ski Shop at
570-222-4200.

"Let's Pick It Up, PA!"
For the past few years, and with plans to continue for years to come,
Idlewild Ski Shop staff, family and friends take part in the Annual Great PA Cleanup.
Each year, Ski Shop volunteers fill countless garbage bags with trash picked up along the
two-mile section of Route 374 leading from West Clifford to Lake Idlewild.
By participating in the Pennsylvania "Adopt-A-Highway" Program, the Ski Shop
shows a commitment to keeping our community clean and beautiful.
Thanks to our volunteers these cleanups are a success in our corner of our state!
